Quick service & fast food

Clear the queue in three taps per order

Items, Pay, tender. The receipt and kitchen tickets print on their own. DineBills is built for counters where every second at the till is a customer waiting in line.

  • Combos and deals
  • KOT and KDS routing
  • Works offline

Quick service & fast food

At lunch, every second at the till turns into a longer queue. DineBills keeps the menu on the till itself, so the line moves at the speed of your cashier, not your internet.

The challenge

The rush does not wait for your till

Fast food lives and dies on throughput. Most counter problems come from software that was never designed for 300 orders an hour.

01

Slow screens at peak

A till that waits on the internet after every tap adds seconds to every order. At lunch those seconds become a queue out of the door.

02

Deals that confuse the cashier

Combos, meal upgrades and "choose any two" offers get rung up wrong, so you lose margin or the kitchen makes the wrong thing.

03

Tickets in the wrong place

The fryer gets the drinks, the grill misses a burger, and somebody has to shout across the kitchen to fix it.

04

Internet drops, sales stop

When the connection fails on a cloud-only POS, you are back to pen and paper, then hours of re-entry after close.

How DineBills helps

A counter that keeps pace with your kitchen

Every part of DineBills is tuned for short, repeatable orders: big buttons, fewer screens, and printing that just happens.

01 · Ordering

Combos and modifiers without the guesswork

Set up deals once in the back office: fixed combos, choose X from a group, and make-it-a-meal upgrades. The POS walks the cashier through each choice, and required options cannot be skipped.

  • Make-it-a-meal upgrades with price differences handled for you
  • No, Extra, Light and On-the-side options on any item
  • Favourites screen and search for the 20 items you sell most
  • Barcode scanning for bottled drinks and packaged sides

Every station gets only what it makes

Route each item or category to a station: grill, fryer, drinks, dessert. Each station gets its own KOT on a printer, a kitchen display, or both, the moment the order is paid.

  • One ticket per station, printed silently with no pop-ups
  • Colour-coded timers and bump screens on the KDS
  • Backup printer takes over if a station printer fails
  • Choose whether tickets fire on Send, on Pay, or both

03 · Payment

Pay and print in one move

Cash, card on your external terminal, or split between both. Quick-tender buttons round to the notes customers actually hand over, the drawer opens and the receipt prints.

  • Quick cash buttons and change due on screen
  • Split tender across cash and card
  • Shifts with opening float, cash in and out, X and Z reports
  • Discounts behind a manager PIN with reason codes
How an order flows

From "next please" to food on the tray

A typical counter order in DineBills. Most take three taps from first item to paid.

  1. 1

    Tap the items

Favourites, categories or a barcode scan. Deals open their choices automatically.

  2. 2

    Pay

Cash, card or split. Quick-cash buttons fill the amount.

  3. 3

    Tickets print

The receipt prints at the till and KOTs print at each station.

  4. 4

    Kitchen bumps

Stations work from their own ticket or KDS and bump when done.

  5. 5

    Order called

The order number on the receipt is called at the pass.

Frequently asked questions

Still curious? Talk to our team.

Do kitchen tickets fire when the order is sent or when it is paid?

You choose per terminal. Pay-first counters fire tickets on Pay; counters that cook while the guest pays can fire on Send. Either way each station gets only its own items.

Can it handle combo meals and deals?

Yes. You can build fixed combos, "choose X from a group" deals and make-it-a-meal upgrades in the back office. The POS asks for each required choice, applies the right price and sends every component to the right kitchen station.

Do I need a kitchen display, or can I keep printers?

Either. Each station can be set to a printer, a kitchen display, or both. If a display goes offline, the POS prints that station’s tickets so the kitchen never misses an order.

Does it support drive-thru and kiosks?

Drive-thru can run as its own order type with separate numbering and reports. Self-ordering kiosks move ordering off the till entirely; see the kiosk page for how they connect to the same kitchen queue.
